Be aware of September 1st when hellish Portuguese ARMNATT releases their fourth album, Immortal Nature, on Signal Rex label.

Featuring classic black metal and no concern for experimentation and innovation, these guys know well what they do and competently explore the essence of this murky music. That said, I’d like to take this opportunity to vehemently reiterate that everyone makes the music they want, exploring the subgenres of this extreme metal genre the way they want. The stupid comments about bands that want to stay in the roots make me have that thirst to slap these people. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, which does not mean taking credit away from anyone.

That said, let’s get to what matters, which is to look into the Immortal Nature album.

With abrasively visceral vocals, exquisite guitar work that explores akin styles featuring denser and sometimes melodic riffs on some tracks, and violent drums, ARMNATT may not innovate. Still, without modesty, it presents yet another work that is not only competent but that reaches another level on the ladder of musical quality.

“Another (HYPNOTIC) spell of destruction, but one that subtly reveals new twists; […] Dependably, intractably, Armnatt again resist change and the ever-shifting sands of “good taste,” and paint their own Dorian Gray with Immortal Nature.” I couldn’t agree more with Signal Rex; I sign below without fear of making a mistake.
