Black metal band GAEREA released the second single, “Mantle”, two days ago, off their forthcoming album “Mirage”.

A few weeks earlier, the album’s first pre-single, “Salve”, was released. The song tells the story of a man brought into a room designed to destroy first his soul and then his body.

“Mirage” is the third album by the Portuguese from Porto after “Unsettling Whispers” (2018) and “Limbo” (2020) and was produced by Miguel Tereso (who works for ANALEPSY, among others) at Demigod Recordings. The album will be released on 23rd September 2022 via Season of Mist.

Furthermore, the band will be on tour with GAAHLS WYRD, SAOR and WINTERFYLLETH in autumn 2022.
